Position: Paraplanner

Summary:
NSAG is immediately hiring for a Paraplanner to assist with our fast-growing practice. This position is full time, in office, salaried with benefits and does not require sales. We need your help managing our current clients, not to find new ones!

You will be responsible for coordinating client meetings, including scheduling, collecting, and analyzing necessary information. In addition, he prepares client investment reviews and retirement cash flow projections, as well as assists with the overall client relationship.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has a natural ability to promote products and build rapport through strong listening and communication skills.
  • Is an energetic self-starter.
  • Works well independently or on a team.
  • Is high-energy, confident and professional, with enthusiasm for technology.

Primary duties:

  • Serve as administrative support to CEO.
  • Administrative duties will include, but are not limited to opening, maintaining and servicing client accounts. To facilitate this work the employee will:
    • provide necessary forms to clients via physical paperwork and DocuSign
    • facilitate additions and withdrawals
    • enter trades
  • Client facing duties will include outgoing calls to current clients to:
    • schedule meetings
    • collect and analyze client information in preparation for meetings
    • identify potential product or service needs through conversations and analyzing client information
  • Resolve service problems by clarifying the client's concern; determine the cause of the problem; collaborate to identify the best solution; expedite correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Make recommendations for company improvements based on experience with processes.

Secondary duties:

  • Create and revise systems and procedures to best support clients and the business as needed.
  • Resolve administrative and client problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Business skills:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking, problem solving, professionalism, multi-tasking, business writing, managing processes, organization, analyzing reports and information, client service, documentation.

Technical skills:
Required: Microsoft Office with extensive Excel experience, Zoom: Video Conferencing Plus: ACT!, experience handling professional social media accounts, VoIP web interface for managing phone system

Required Experience:

  • College degree in Business Administration; preferably with a specialization in finance or accounting.
  • Prior work experience in the financial services industry
  • Preferred, but not required
    • Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 65, 66…
    • Insurance license for life and health
    • Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™
    • Certified Financial Planner™
